Implementation of Ithra’a Phase II

ASK Consulting & Training in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Education Council concluded the implementation of the second phase of Ithra’a; developing the competencies of Arabic Language and Islamic Education Leaders and Teachers where the training was held for 70 private schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain bringing the number of schools that have been trained during Ithra’a 2016/2017 implementation to 140 schools. The program implementation will continue over the next year to cover all private schools in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western region.
The importance of Ithra’a in strengthening the teaching of both Arabic language and Islamic Education was emphasized during the program’s opening remarks by Dr. Maryam Ahmed Al Ali, School Development Division Manager in the Private Schools & Quality Assurance Sector and Ms. Nora Mohammd ALRashidi, the Program Manager in the Private Schools & Quality Assurance Sector.
The following was also highlighted by Dr. Amin Amin, CEO and Founder of ASK Arabia: “This is the first program of its kind in the Arab region reflecting ASK’s vision, commitment, and work towards the full integration of ICT tools in the overall professional development field for the basic education sector, specifically for Arabic language and Islamic Education teaching.”
The program was commended from both, schools’ participants as well as Abu Dhabi Education Council and we look forward to continuing Ithra’a’s successful implementation.
