Dr. Amin speaks at K-12 leaders Forum MENA

Dr. Amin was a speaker at the K-12 leaders Forum MENA, EdEX MENA conference that was held in Dubai on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Dr. Amin shed light on the results of open plan technology enhanced learning and 21st-century schools.
During his discussion, Dr. Amin noted the characteristics that a 21st-century school must focus on in order to tailor to the changing unknown labor market namely, creativity, innovation, problem-solving, critical thinking, research, collaboration and communication. He also highlighted the need for a 21st-century school to have an innovative school layout reflecting differentiated learning and moving away from the conventional traditional “one size fits all” type of learning. Furthermore, discussion took place on how technology and contemporary design serve an important role in connecting learners to the fast-paced world.
The K-12 Leaders Forum MENA is dedicated to addressing the biggest challenges to delivering quality in teaching and learning across K-12 establishments in the MENA region. The programme also discussed regional and international best practices for ensuring excellence in delivering quality localised education across the region.
