ASK is proud to share that it has completed the implementation of My Identity program for the years 2017 and 2018 for the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). For the goal of strengthening national identity of Emirati and residing students across all private schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, PSQA launched My Identity program to emphasize the cultural, historical and geographical knowledge of the UAE among private school students.
During the first phase of the program, ASK conducted an intensive training for all 195 private schools’ teams in the emirate of Abu Dhabi on the integration of My Identity program, specifically, the integration of the curriculum framework for the program in the school curriculum and across all school activities. Schools commended the trainers on their ability to clarify the program themes and the required implementation methods.
During the second phase of the program, ASK’s team conducted 195 school evaluation visits to evaluate the extent of the program implementation on the ground and measure the overall impact of My Identity program in private schools. ASK was successful in obtaining a comprehensive overview of the successes and challenges of My Identity implementation in the private schools across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Amin Amin CEO of ASK Arabia, highlighted that ASK is keen on promoting national identity in line with the country’s aspirations and future vision for the education sector. Dr. Amin extended his gratitude to the project team members from ADEK for their continuous cooperation and support throughout the implementation of My Identity – phase 3.
We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this program across all private schools in the emirate.
